How to Refuel
In Guam, you’ll pump your own gas at most stations.
A few stations offer full service with an attendant at the pump, but self-service costs less. Here’s how to do it, step by step, even if you’ve never pumped gas before.

Pull up to a “Self Serve” pump
At “Full Serve” pumps, an attendant handles everything, and the price is higher.
Use regular unleaded (Shell FuelSave)
Stop by the cashier first
Pump the gas
When the tank is full, the pump shuts off by itself, and you’re finished. Don’t squeeze the handle again to add more. Fuel could spill or the pump could be damaged. Hang the nozzle back on the pump when you’re done.
Pay and keep the receipt
You’ll need to show that receipt when we settle up after you return the car. Because gas prices change often, we can’t give you a price ahead of time. The current price is shown on the pump (1 gallon is roughly 3.8 liters).
When you pick up the car, our staff will tell you where to find gas stations.
Your car comes with a full tank. Please fill it up at a gas station before returning it. If the tank wasn’t full when you picked up the car, just refuel to the level it had at pickup.
*If you can’t refuel or the tank is short, the fuel will be charged at our standard rates. Our staff will go out to refuel the car, which costs more than doing it yourself, so please fill the tank before you bring the car back.
